Rain Out / Cancellations

Rain Out Policy

Rain Out/ Event Interruption Policy (December 16, 2025)
ALL SALES ARE FINAL – NO REFUNDS PERMITTED

  1. Overview. Lucas Oil Speedway is an outdoor racing entertainment facility and the weather for any event is unknown. Additionally, events may also be impacted by emergencies or government orders beyond our control. All patrons must read and accept this rain out/ event interruption policy prior to purchasing an event ticket. This policy applies only to events for which Lucas Oil Speedway or I-10 Race Promotions, Inc. is the official ticket seller and collects ticket payments directly. For any event where a third party, series, promoter, or other 3rd party rents the facility and sells or distributes tickets independently, that party assumes all responsibility and liability for its ticketing, cancellation, and rain out practices. Patrons should refer to such third party’s policy for such events.
  2. Event Programs. Event programs consist of scheduled competitive activities appropriate to each event type held at Lucas Oil Speedway, including Off Road Races, Dirt Track Races, Lake Lucas Races, and Demolition Derbies. These may include, as applicable, practice sessions, qualifying rounds, preliminary heats, main or feature events, or similar competition segments. For purposes of this policy, "event program" refers to the official sequence of competition or activities—whether races, heats, rounds, or other contests—scheduled for the event as published by Lucas Oil Speedway.
  3. Event Interruptions and Completion. In the event of inclement weather or other covered event interruption (including emergencies or government directives that require postponement or cancellation), Lucas Oil Speedway officials will make every effort to complete the event program. if it can be done safely, and in accordance with all relevant orders or declarations. Always, be sure to keep your event tickets and/or wristbands.
  4. Rain Check Policy – Before Halfway Completion. If the halfway point in the event program has not been completed, event tickets and wristbands should be kept and will be honored toward any upcoming racing event. The same ticket or wristband will be valid for events of equal or lesser value. You must have the original ticket or wristband (NO COPIES). Redemption of rain checks (tickets or wristbands) is subject to event availability and capacity limits. To redeem a rain check, guests must contact the Speedway Office in advance to confirm availability and reserve admission for the desired event. Walk-up rain check redemptions at sold-out events may not be accommodated. The original, intact, ticket or wristband (no copies) must be presented at the time of redemption. Once you leave the ticket booth you are responsible for your ticket and/or wristbands. Lucas Oil Speedway is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets or wristbands.
  5. Rain Checks – After Halfway Completion / Event Is Official. Your ticket and/or wristband is your rain check and your responsibility. NO REFUNDS will be given. In the event that an event program has started, and in the opinion of the track officials, the inclement weather or another covered interruption is sufficient to cancel the remainder of the event program, the event program will be considered a complete event if half or more of the scheduled activities have been completed, as determined by Lucas Oil Speedway officials, including, without limitation, when applicable, if the event has reached intermission, or if heat races are complete. Those scheduled competitions or features not completed may be rescheduled at the discretion of Lucas Oil Speedway management. Rain checks (tickets or wristbands) must be redeemed within twelve (12) months from the date of the canceled event. After this period, they will no longer be valid for admission, upgrades, or future events.
  6. Questions. If you have any questions with regards to the Rain Out Policy, please contact the Speedway Office at 417-282-5984 or visit www.lucasoilspeedway.com.
  7. Policy Updates. Lucas Oil Speedway reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The version in effect at time of ticket purchase will apply.
