Colonel Joshua Pope to serve as Grand Marshal of 34th annual Show-Me 100

WHEATLAND, MO. (May 20, 2026) - Lucas Oil Speedway Officials are excited to announce Colonel Joshua Pope, the Commander at the 509th Maintenance Group, Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri will serve as Grand Marshal again for the 34 th Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100-presented by Ace Doran Hauling and Rigging.

The Speedway will honor and recognize the military, veterans, and families of fallen military personnel again as part of the Memorial Day weekend. The Speedway is also a close neighbor to Pope; Commander of the Whiteman Air Force Base is just 65 miles north of the speedway and is home of the B-2 Spirit Bomber Fleet.

As Commander, Colonel Joshua Pope is directly responsible for the morale, welfare and well-being of more than 1,450 Airmen and their families assigned to three squadrons. Additionally, he directs all production, flightline and back shop maintenance supporting twenty (20) B-2A aircraft supporting four operational squadrons. https://www.whiteman.af.mil/

The speedway has always recognized and honored the Military during this event and having the Whiteman Air Force Base represented at the event as we recognize the military on Memorial Day Weekend during the Show-Me 100”, said Casey Shuman, General Manager of Lucas Oil Speedway.

Fans will get to experience the Diamond of Dirt Tracks and all the amenities the facility has to offer over the course of the three days for the 34th annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100-presented by Ace Doran Hauling and Rigging. The Speedway has added several new amenities including the Pitts Homes & Realty Play Place for kids and a refurbished lake in the campgrounds which offers ATV/bike trails, fishing ponds and the big Lake Lucas for even more fishing fun all weekend. An active go-kart track for fans and kids will be open all three days.

The vendor midway will be full of vendors with your favorite driver merchandise and various food vendors.

The 34th annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100-presented by Ace Doran Hauling and Rigging will feature a full show for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series paying $10,000 to win on both Thursday and Friday, May 21-22.

Saturday’s final night will include B-Mains, The Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge and the 100-lap feature paying $75,000 to win.

Bobby Pierce from Oakwood, Ill., is the defending champion of the

Show-Me 100 earning his second win to go with one in 2017.

Ultimate Fan Package: Lucas Oil Speedway is offering fans a great new way to experience its signature event on the final night of the 34th annual Show-Me 100 Presented by Ace Doran Hauling and Rigging on May 23rd.

For just $99, fans can purchase the Ultimate Fan Experience, a round-trip bus ride from Cavender's Western Store at Battlefield and US 65 with a 3 p.m. departure that day. Along with the transportation, the price includes a Show-Me 100 suite ticket, a personal suite host and a bird’s eye view of all the racing action.

A limited number of spots are available and interested fans can contact Admissions Director Nichole McMillan at (417) 295-6043. Cost of food and drink is not included in the price.
