RSVP deadline closing in for Lucas Oil Speedway Championship Banquet

WHEATLAND, MO. (Oct. 28, 2024) - The deadline to reserve tickets for Lucas Oil Speedway's Championship Banquet is quickly approaching with RSVPs needed by the end of the business day on Friday, Nov. 1.

The banquet is scheduled for Nov. 23 at The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks in Lake Ozark. Tickets are $40 and can be reserved by contacting Nichole McMillan in the Lucas Oil Speedway office at (417) 282-5984.

A social hour will kick off the festivities from 6-7 p.m. with dinner and the awards ceremony to follow. Along with track champions, the top 10 in each division of the Big Adventure RV Weekly Championship Series will be recognized and receive their prizes.

The Most Popular Driver Award also will be announced with fan voting underway online. One vote per email address is permitted with voting closing at midnight Thursday, Oct. 31.

Other awards at the banquet will include Best Appearing Race Car in each of the four divisions and the winner of the Forrest Lucas Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to the sport.

Along with drivers, family members, crew and sponsors the event is open to the general public. The Resort at Lake of the Ozarks is located at 3076 Bagnell Dam Blvd, Lake Ozark. Room reservations can be made at (573) 693-9988 with the Code: 2024 Lucas Oil Awards Banquet.

There will be a live band at the Encore Lakeside Bar & Grill following the banquet.
