Points format for USRA Modifieds, Order of Events set for Show-Me 100 weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway

WHEATLAND, MO. (May 24, 2022) - While the Late Models take center stage for the 30th annual Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtecttheHarvest.com, the Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modifieds also will be running for prestige and extra cash this weekend.

The format for the Modified portion of the program has been announced and, like the Late Models, the Modified drivers will collect points based upon their finishes in Thursday and Friday programs that will lock in the first 16 starting positions in Saturday’s feature.

Here is a breakdown of how the points-earned formula will work Thursday and Friday for the Modifieds:

A-Main points awarded as follows: 1st 200 points, 2nd 180, 3rd 170, 4th 160, 5th 155, 6th 150, 7th 145, 8th 140, 9th 135, 10th 130, 11th 115, 14th 110, 15th 105, 16th 100, 17th 95, 18th 90, 19th 85, 20th 80, 21st-through-24th 75. To receive A-main points, drivers must start the event.

B-Main points awarded as follows to the B-Main non-transfers: 1st non-transfer 70, 2nd 65, 3rd 60, 4th 55, 5th 50, 6th 45, 7th 40, 8th 35, 9th 30, 10th-through-26th 25. To receive B-main points, drivers must start the event.

The starting grid for the 30-lap USRA Modified feature on Saturday will see the most-combined points starting on the pole, the second most outside of row one and etc., through the 16th-most points starting 16th.

Ties in overall points will be broken: First by highest overall individual points night total for each tied driver and second highest overall individual finish for each tied driver.

All combined points for “non-transferring” drivers will be split into B-Mains on Saturday based on combined points. The top four from each of the 12-lap B-Mains will transfer to the A-Main.

Lap counts for Thursday and Friday will be 8 laps for heats with the top 16 in passing points transferring to the A-Main; B-mains will be 12 laps with top four transferring to A-main and 20 laps for the A-mains on Thursday and Friday.

All three nights of the event also will see the Modified drivers earning both USRA National and Lucas Oil Speedway track points. Each driver receives 50 “participant points” as long as the driver competes in at least a heat race or a B-main.

A-Feature payouts for the USRA Modifieds on Thursday and Friday will be: 1st $750, 2nd $600, 3rd $500, 4th $400, 5th $350, 6th $300, 7th $250, 8th $200, 9th $175, 10th $150, 11th $130, 12th $120, 13th $110, 14th through 24th $100.
