MyRacePass to bring live information to the fingertips of Lucas Oil Speedway teams, fans in 2019

By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- Lucas Oil Speedway is partnering with MyRacePass in 2019 to bring lineups, live scoring and results right into the palm of your hand.

"MyRacePass has a lot of benefit for the drivers and track staff, such as the smart-phone app they can be used to access lineups straight from the pit area," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said. "Likewise, fans can subscribe to the app to see lineups, real-time scoring and immediate results.

"We're excited about having MyRacePass join us next season."

Josh Holt, co-founder and Director of Business and Marketing, said MyRacePass is equally excited about joining forces with Lucas Oil Speedway.

"It's one of the premier facilities in dirt-track racing and it's going to be exciting to see MyRacePass go to work there," Holt said. "There are a lot of benefits drivers can take advantage of and that fans can take advantage of."

The MyRacePass smart phone app launched at last year's Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals and has more than 100,000 users over the first 10 months.

"It's been a huge success," Holt said. "Everybody's on their smart phones any way. Our goal is to put our product in front of these people, and try to engage those race fans.

"It's a big benefit for the drivers, too. Lucas Oil Speedway will have its schedule on its profile on the app. If they were to subscribe to the live timing then every week they could go back easily and find their previous lap times and all that stuff.

"As for lineups, from their pit stall drivers and their team can grab their phone and find up where they line up. We've seen lots of tracks go paperless. Results are posted as soon as scorers post results as soon as they become official, they easily see their points and how many they're getting. It should streamline things."
