Tyler Nelson Makes A Main POWRi West Twice in 2 Nights
Tyler Nelson #88 is racing this season in the POWRi West Series. In Race 4 off the series, Nelson made his first A Main in POWRi at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, MO.
It was a special night for Tyler Nelson Racing. The event was in honor of fellow Driver Jeff Osborne who tragically lost his life at the same track in 2012. The Osborn family were on hand for the "Jeff Osborn" Memorial.
Osborn's family was presented with a gift basket from Tyler Nelson.
The next night, Nelson made his 2nd POWRi Feature at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. A Feature Race that saw 26 cars start and only 8 finish. Nelson, was forced out on Lap 25 when he was unable to avoid a collision with another car the spun out in front of him.
All in All though, according to Nelson, "It was a great weekend of Racing. The car was fast thanks to my Crew Chief Roger Gorbet. I feel like we're off to a great start in the first 5 races of the season in POWRi West."
