The Lucas Oil Speedway Awards Banquet has been moved. I am sorry about this but two weeks ago I found that the scheduled location for this season’s Banquet could not be used. It is a long story but suffice to say it involved the facility itself and the change simply could not be avoided.The event has been moved to the Hermitage, MO Shrine Club (same place as season) on Highway 254 just south of Hermitage. There is a lot of talk floating around about IMCA sanctioning being adopted by area tracks. That is correct, there is a lot of talk. In fact just about every area track is supposedly going to set down and “talk” next week to discuss lots of things regarding the future of our sport.
