DIXIE CHOPPER PRO-PULLING NATS

After rain canceled the Saturday Dixie Chopper Pro-Pulling Nationals event, the sun came out Sunday for round 2 and it was a "doozie!"  There are quotations around that word because it is a direct quote from a man that shook my hand on his way to the parking lot after the pull.

"The Lucas Oil Pro-Pulling League always put on a good show," said Kevin Greven, General Track Manager.  "They are one of the premier pulling associations in the Nation.  That's why Lucas Oil sponsors them and why ESPN2 was here this weekend."

ESPN2 had hoped to take 6 shows for National broadcast out of this two-day event but rain appeared to dampen that plan.  However after the dust cleared Sunday officials reported the puller count was so high and the quality of the classes so strong that they would probably still manage 5 shows from just the one day.

"That says a lot about the quality of this show," added Greven.  "There are very few pulls in the country where all the classes in action are strong enough to warrant their own episode"
