EARL PEARSON JR. ON LUCAS OIL MOTORSPORTS HOUR TONIGHT!
With his second and final appearance at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks just around the corner, series points leader Earl Pearson Jr., crew chief Carri Mason, and promoters Jeff Greer and Johnny Stokes will all headline tonight's Lucas Oil Motorsports Hour. The interactive program airs live at 8pm eastern, 7pm central Tuesday night on www.RaceTalkLive.com.
Current Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points leader Earl Pearson Jr. will join the show for his second ever appearance on the program. Pearson is fresh off a wild win Saturday night at the Volunteer Speedway and is attempting to become the first ever Late Model driver to net five straight national championships.
Also joining the broadcast will be Carri Mason, daughter and crew chief for Hall of Famer John Mason. Carri, who also races part-time, will give an update on John's condition after his accident Saturday night at Volunteer Speedway and talk about what it's like being a female crew chief and driver, all while juggling a rigorous college curriculum.
Promoters Jeff Greer and Johnny Stokes will check in with a look ahead to this weekend's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series races. Greer is the promoter at the Tuscumbia, AL's North Alabama Speedway, where the Series will make their third visit for this Friday night's "Heart of the Dixie 40". Stokes, a well-known promoter and driver, will discuss this Saturday's Lucas Oil sanctioned "10th Annual James Nickoles Memorial" at his track, Columbus Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS.
