The 22nd Annual Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 Presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com returns to Lucas Oil Speedway for the 22nd running of the event after capacity crowds jammed the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" each of the previous four seasons. Ray Cook captured the inaugural edition of the premier event held at Lucas Oil Speedway in 2010, while Newport, Tennessee's Jimmy Owens has scored back to back to back Show-Me 100 wins in 2011, 2012, and 2013. The Cameras of CBS Sports will also be hand as this event gets National Network TV Coverage for the third time. This is surely one you won't want to miss! This Crown Jewel Event features the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA battling for 100 Laps and a $30,000 to win top prize.
The weekend kicks off with a special $5,045 to win/$545 to start MLRA Super Late Model show on Thursday night recently dubbed the "Cowboy Classic" in honor of longtime MLRA Owner/Promoter Allen "Cowboy" Chancellor plus the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds featuring NASCAR star and television personality Kenny Wallace will be running a complete event with $500 going to the winner on Thursday night.
Friday night will feature time trials and (6) heat races for the LOLMDS Super Late Models, plus the Crawford Supply Late Model Race of Champions Presented by Traeger Grills and the Hot Rod Tracker Manufacturers Dash. The top (3) finishers in each 20-lap heat race will move on to Saturday night's main event. The balance of the field in each of the heats will move on to the LOLMDS consolation events on Saturday night. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will be featured as the support class and will run their qualifying Heat Races for Saturday's $1,000 to win, $150 to start main event. Dry Camping areas are FREE this year for the Show-Me 100 so come and spend the holiday weekend with us.
On Saturday night, consolation events for the USRA Modifieds will be held plus the consolation events and the LOLMDS Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge will be held for the LOLMDS prior to the 100 Lap Lucas Oil Show-Me 100 taking center stage. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will cap off the weekend action as the top Modified drivers in the region race for $1,000 to win Presented by RacinDirt.com. Lucas Oil Speedway is "America's New Motorsports Destination"
